Georgia TT Endurance Challenge: North American 6hr Championship
The official result was 165.69 miles in six hours at 27.6 mph. That was enough for first overall, a new course record, and my fourth WUCA North American Championship of 2026—completing the championship sweep I had set out to accomplish at the beginning of the year.
Hoodoo 500: 19 Hours Off Recumbent Course Record
I have been riding my Cruzbike V20c for nearly a year. In that time, I have set course and world records on it, literally riding it all over the USA. But the Hoodoo 500 was set to be my greatest challenge on the bike yet: 500 miles and almost 30k feet of climbing. We were able to share just how well a Cruzbike does on a climbing course—19 hours off the previous recumbent course record!
12 hr Recumbent World Record Attempt
The original plan was to ramp up into this effort, but with the illness barely subsiding and RAAM now on the schedule, I was really concerned about pushing too hard and hurting myself. I was ready to do the whole 12 hours, as this was my plan, but when things started to hurt in a bad way I knew it was time to adjust.
With this in mind, after successfully surpassing the upright records for 100km, 100mi, 200km, 6hr, 300km, and 200mi, I called it early. I was very pleased with these efforts and times, and knew that going further was too much risk.
UNBOUND XL: 350 miles, one long night, and a podium
They made a podium. I stood on it. Future victories to come. This one, though? This one's going live rent free in my mind forever.
12hr North American Championship - Calvin’s Challenge
When all was said and done, I managed 305.2 miles, which is an average speed of 25.2 mph. I burned around 10,500 cal while consuming 7,200 cal. I ended up with an exact wattage of 240 W, meeting my goal.
First American Over 600mi in 24 Hours—Bike Sebring 2026
Woah! If you had told me 5 years ago I would be first in the world to do something athletic… I don’t know what I would have said, but it wouldn’t have been, “sounds right.” Much less a 24-hour athletic event. Sure, athletic abilities were there as a teen, but I had never done anything like it. Not to mention, I was 270+ pounds, not my normal 170-180 racing weight.
12hr Unsupported Recumbent WR
While the wind was very fatiguing and made speeds highly variable and overall slower than normal, there were benefits to riding in the wind. I was ultimately here to train more and get better on the Cruzbike. I’ve found that the wind is an incredible teacher on any bike. This was no exception—a refiner’s fire, if you will. Also, it was a solid reminder that I can do hard things even when I don’t want to.

No Limits Left is not believing that we can do whatever we think is possible. It’s allowing yourself to stop being told what you can and can’t do. It’s the courage to actually try and figure it out for yourself—using common wisdom and standing on the shoulders of giants, but not being limited by it not having been done yet.
Hoodoo 500: Two-Time WUCA Ultra Distance Champion
For me, Hoodoo 2025 was proof that preparation plus adaptability beats perfection. I wasn’t perfect going in. But on the day, I was present. I controlled what I could, accepted what I couldn’t, and kept moving forward. That’s ultra. That’s life.
Race Across the West 2025 — 🥇 Bested 12-year-old Record
Race Across the West wasn’t just a race—it was the culmination of a dream, years of work, and the belief that limits are made to be broken.
Virtual World Record Attempt
On April 19, 2025 at 6 a.m. MT, I took the first of 92,160 pedal strokes which led me to be the holder of 14 world records!
